With more than 25 years’ experience in communications, I am currently devoted to helping clients achieve their career potential, either by continuing their chosen path or by exploring and defining new directions. Originally trained as a research scientist, I apply a curiosity-driven, no-expectations approach to analyzing and refining life/career goals.
Having diverged from a research professorship career track early on in my development – after completing a doctorate in Genetics – I’ve always valued flexibility in my career development, as well as careful listening to both myself and others. I have been fortunate to experience stimulating environments within both academic research institutions and life science companies and have also been self-employed as an independent journalist and consultant. Today, I enjoy applying that varied experience to helping others examine their career opportunities, including the possibilities of business ownership and self-sufficiency.
On the personal side, I like to stay active by practicing yoga and dance on a regular basis and also enjoy spending time outdoors.
